Change of Worship Schedule Beginning January 8^th:

9:00-9:45 AM--Celebration
9:45-10:30 AM--Sunday School, Soul Cafe
10:15-11:15 AM--Coffee Hour
11:00-noon Traditional Worship

We hope everyone will be there from 10:30 to 11:00 for the coffee hour. We assume the folks coming to Traditional worship will arrive at 10:15 and leave for worship at 11:00, while the early crowd will get out of Sunday School and Soul Cafe at 10:30 and linger for coffee until about 11:15. It is very important that we have this time together to maintain our unity as a church!

"Celebration" is the term we decided to adopt as a description of our contemporary worship service. It will consist of contemporary Christian music, prayer, an offering, Scripture reading(s) and an interactive or dialogue sermon. The order of worship will be informal, consisting, to start with, of music, prayer, scripture reading, interactive sermon, music during the offering, and closing with a benediction. We will be listening for suggestions for improvement; so the content and order of the Celebration will evolve over time.
